Looking to rent a 100+ armor spino saddle blueprint so I can craft a bunch of saddles for my spino's.

how do u calculate the bonus for 125% crafting skill? i dont get it cuz its actually not 125% of the bp.
And why do u go for max def with armor, durability is way more important 
A mix of both is important
The crafting skill bonus only applies to the percentage that the BP is better than a regular primitive item. In example:
Weapon BP with 250% damage
Base damage of primitive item is 100%
Difference is 150%
If you got 100% crafting bonus that means you get 100% of the 150% difference, the result will be a 400% weapon (100% base damage + 2x150% from BP and crafting bonus).
And yeah, durability is very important once you got a base armor of around 2k I think (don't remember the numbers), but with crafting skill the durability is always very high, so we did not bother.

But it's the same with armor, if u craft ascendant stuff with crafting char the armor will be that high it doesn't matter if u have 200-300 more of it, but more dura is always nice. Icraftet a flak set with 4.5k armor and just take the BP's with max Dura, so i might go higher in armor but it will break down sooner, so i prefer dura

At 850 armor you're blocking almost 90% of the incoming damage ... Not sure how much 4.5k would push you over diminishing return limit but yea, increased durability sure becomes way better after 1k-ish armor
